1GO Plus account details: phone and email changes

Keep a contact-detail correction attached to the account you already own.

The 1GO Plus account menu includes Bind Telephone and an email-verification entry. Its terms require customers to keep contact information accurate and current. If a phone number or email needs correction, use the account’s own controls or recognised support route; do not create another player account to replace the details.

An available menu entry does not tell you whether an existing detail can be replaced immediately. Read the form you reach and identify whether it is asking you to add, verify or change information. Those actions have different consequences for receiving account messages.

Identify the change you need

For a typing error, record the incorrect detail and the correction you want. For a lost phone or inaccessible email account, explain that you cannot receive messages through the old contact method. For a change you did not make, treat the issue as possible unauthorised access and follow account-security guidance.

Keep the account identifier with the request. Do not share both old and new contact details in a public post merely to demonstrate the problem. Supply them only through the operator’s appropriate private channel and only to the extent needed.

Before sending documents

Ask what proof of ownership the operator needs and how to submit it. The terms allow identity checks, but they do not establish one universal phone-change document list. A request for proof should explain the purpose and destination of the upload.

Never send a password, working OTP or payment PIN as proof of account ownership. If you are asked to install remote-control software or pay a stranger to “unbind” a number, stop and return to the contact route you can establish belongs to the operator.

Confirm the result

After a correction, check which detail is now shown and whether account messages reach it. Keep the support reference until you have confirmed normal access. An acknowledgement that the request was received is not necessarily confirmation that the change has been completed.

If you are still unable to log in, describe that as the remaining issue rather than submitting another change request without context. Password recovery and OTP help address access problems separately.
