1GO Plus verification: identity and payment ownership

Match the requested document to the identity, address or payment question it is meant to answer.

The 1GO Plus terms allow identity checks during the account relationship and before withdrawals. They describe possible photo identification, address evidence and additional checks. The exact documents and submission process should come from the request for your account, rather than a generic checklist copied from another operator.

Understand what is being checked

An identity document, proof of address and proof of payment ownership answer different questions. Read the request closely enough to know which one is needed. Sending a bank receipt when the issue is account identity may leave the original question unanswered.

The terms give examples of identification and address evidence, but that does not establish that a particular Indian document is accepted in every case. Do not assume Aadhaar or PAN is mandatory or sufficient without an applicable request. Ask about accepted documents, visibility requirements and the upload route before submitting sensitive information.

Prepare legible, consistent records

Use genuine information belonging to you. Check that the name and other relevant details agree with the account and payment records, or explain an actual discrepancy. Do not edit a document to hide a mismatch or make another person’s account appear to be yours.

Keep the document readable and follow the requested format. If a requirement is unclear, ask for clarification rather than repeatedly uploading different files without knowing why they were rejected. Retain the request and submission reference for follow-up.

Choose the correct submission channel

Provide documents through the operator’s recognised private process. An unsolicited message requesting identity material is not authenticated by a logo. Confirm the purpose of the request before sharing information.

Never supply a password, working OTP, payment PIN or card security code as identity evidence. The privacy guide explains the categories of personal data in the operator’s policy, including KYC and payment information.

If a withdrawal is waiting

Keep the verification case and withdrawal order linked, but do not assume one status automatically updates the other. Ask what information remains outstanding and whether the account or payment is restricted pending review. Ask how you will be notified of the outcome.

If documents were accepted but a payment remains unresolved, continue with withdrawal tracking and the existing order. If the request is disputed, preserve the full exchange for complaint preparation. Do not create another account to avoid a verification request.
